Dessert knife/fork set, 24 pieces, British antique, white mother-of-pearl, pure silver plating, with box

Description

A 24-piece dessert knife/fork set made in the UK for 12 people.

The handles are mother-of-pearl, and the joints and blades are silver-plated (pure silver plating).

It has an elegant Victorian design.

It comes in a special wooden case with a cloth interior and a three-tiered case.

It has servers on the top tier (which is missing),

and the two bottom tiers have double doors at the front,

and can store 24 pieces of cutlery.

It has a wooden-like decoration and a lock.

■ Condition

Almost half of the pieces have cracks from the handle joints,

and almost all of the natural streaks have brown streaks due to the metal coloring.

Other rubbing, fine scratches, and minor discoloration, including natural streaks, can be seen.

Although it shows signs of aging and use appropriate for the above age, it maintains its mirror shine.

The server in the top storage is missing.

The wooden box has discoloration of the fabric, chips and cracks on the exterior,

some damage to the upper divider, and the drawers are quite hard to open and close due to the tension.

It is a very elaborately made wooden box that can be locked and stored,

but since it shows considerable aging, please consider this as a bonus.

*Please note that white mother of pearl may have natural streaks and smooth unevenness.
