A lovely find This is an antique hand woven sheet of homespun linen , that was dyed Indigo blue. The blue is dark, the true color is just gorgeous, saturated in tone ~. The tone is dark, and there is a light sheen on the surface that will wash ~ t~ a BEAUTY ~ the weave is a medium open , plain weave so it lets the light in beautifully ~*~ This sheet weighs 2 pounds and 3 ounces ~
I. Very heavy weight, durable and beautiful. Wonderful used as is for a bed cover, throw or curtain, but the fabric is also ideal for curtains, upholstery, pillows, duvet covers, etc!

Measurements:  This lovely textile measures 75 inches by 48 inches *~ 

CONDITION : I've kept this textile in as found condition, for collectors, however it can be machine washed , just wash on it's own as I'm not sure it was ever washed or used so the blue will probably run in the wash ~*~ There are some light inconsistencies in the tone ~*~ A BEAUTY ~ Washing will soften beautifully . If it were me and I was using, I would machine wash and tumble dry. I like to add fabric softener in the final rinse for added softness ~*~
